Bauhaus of the Seas NEB co-design event
On May 20th Stofl co-founders Flemming Mouridsen and Christian Charalambous joined the discussion panel for the first ever Bauhaus of the Seas co-design event. This was an opportunity to learn about and participate in the design of the New European Bauhaus initiative and learn how to contribute to The Bauhaus of the Seas vision.
The Bauhaus of the Seas:
The Bauhaus of the Seas was established in order to recognize and legitimize the diverse range of know-how already present in coastal and marine communities and ecosystems, promoting, through design and creativity, its innovation, renewal, updating and articulation with a new generation of public policies aimed at cooperation and transnational problem-solving.
A New European Bauhaus:
In response to the NEB (New European Bauhaus) challenge, is a creative and interdisciplinary initiative, convening a space of encounter to design future ways of living, situated at the crossroads between art, culture, social inclusion, science and technology. It brings the Green Deal to our living places and calls for a collective effort to imagine and build a future that is sustainable, inclusive and beautiful for our minds and for our souls.
